Can we get rid of the terrible Quit Ban system already?

You can fake the disconnects by pulling the cable or turning off your Xbox. The system can’t differentiate between a disconnect and a console or a router being shutdown or a cable being pulled. If you think the system should be like this, then feel free to tell us how to program this.

Personally, I play alot of MCC and my game rarely crashes on Xbox Series X, even if the loading fails and the entire server carshes for everyone (which happens maybe like once in a week for me) me and my friends never get banned for this, so I don’t know what your guys problem is.
If you get a lot of disconnects, then maybe you should check and fix your internet or your hardware or something but others shouldn’t constantly suffer from your disconnects by being in another 3v4. Rejoin for the one who left would be helpfull.

I don’t denie that the game had it problems in the past but it got way better and those random crashes and load failures rarely happen for me anymore.

No, I’m not going to get a group every time I wanna play the damn game. Ill just go play something else like everyone else is doing. Enjoy your dying game.

You really dont want to improve MCC in any way? Kinda hard to imagine since your on the forums yet only shutting down people trying to come up with solutions. How about actually trying help instead of telling people: “thats how it is”, because it sure as doesn’t have to be.

Not joining on a team with trolls/quitters/afkers helps a lot. I’m not carrying those types of players on my team, instead I play with my friends and we really enjoy the game (even if we loose).

Have you looked at my previous comments? I mentioned a couple of solutions and I agree in some other solutions other players mentioned here. And even removing the quit ban system, those types of players will always exist… And as I mentioned before, I don’t care if they remove it (for real, I don’t care. How many times I have to say that? )

I really do want to improve MCC. That’s why I haven’t missed any single flight (and I give feedback when needed).

Personally I think players should be given two free quits per day in social and one free quit per day in competitive. Maximum 15 minute ban.

How is this still going??? I just played a game where the entire match froze and MCC crashed. Rebooted and got the 10 min auto-ban when I tried to find a new game.

There weren’t any quit bans back then. Not even in ranked. This is a new thing that modern devs are doing in all games for whatever reason. All it does is punish legitimate players.

Losing xp would do nothing, it only worked on h3 360 because you had to win to get the xp…
Quitting 10 times isnt abnormal if you play solo and vs a team of 4 or have afk players.
The hidden mmr system will also throw all the worst players on the best players team, it is way too strict for good players. It isn’t fair to be punished for being good at the game when you can queue solo as an average player and get a team of 3 other average players and the best player in the lobby has the 0.50 kd players on their team.
The match making system needs to just be made completely random OR implement a solo queue option.

The assumption would be if you leave for 10 games as the first/second players to leave - not if you leave after the first 50% of your team have left.

Regardless, the system 343 implemented isnt working. And they aren’t presenting any other options.

They did change the system, now if you leave at all, even after 50% of your team, you get a ban.

The problem is we have no idea if it was intentional.

Support finally replied, and what I got from them sounds like this is not an intentional change. Unfortunately those who are affected (me) are going to have to keep eating bans or playing highly lopsided matches if the situation arises.

Keeping match quit bans for competitive playlists is a must. There needs to be a deterrent for leaving a ranked game, regardless of how badly you’re being stomped.

The point of the discussion revolves around social playlists. I’m not going to stick around for a social game that I’m going to lose 11-50 because the enemy team is a 4stack of tryhards. It’s called a social playlist, not ‘ranked without a rank’. Forcing a ban on people for leaving a match that just isn’t fun is only doing damage to the playerbase.

social games shouldn’t even have a pentalty for players quiting in the first place… it’s sodding SOCIAL. honestly it’s unfuriating being stuck in a loosing 4v2 battle with the inability to leave because i’l be punished. at most it should be the first person who leaves gets punished, everyone else doesn’t. cuz then it punishes the deserved dude, whiles also letting past those whom would otherwise be in a unfair fight
also they better fix it for those who loose connection. no one should be punished for something outside their control

The issue here is the random players on your team because most of the time, they betray you, go afk, they leave the game, or can barely get a single kill. Regardless of the ban system, unfortunately, these types of players will keep appearing. So a recommendation would be to avoid them and find friends you can play with. It’s not that hard (for some reason, it’s called social, and you’ll have more fun, even if you lose a game, trust me)

You can ask any experienced player, and all will tell you that the reporting system is a joke, so we can’t do much against these types of players but avoid them.

Do you have a better idea of dealing with these players? (Besides avoiding them)

I mean, I have one, but it would be a dream if they implement it:

  • Remove the ban system and implement a reputation system.

  • All players with bad reputation can play with other players with bad reputation. Same case with players with good reputation.

  • Player will have a bad reputation every time the player goes afk, betray they teammates, or leave the game during mid-game (after a specific amount of times). They can recover their reputation by not doing this after certain amount of games. Also, players can recover their reputation after a specific time (i.e. after 3 days).

  • Every time a player quits, XP will be deducted, and the game will count as a loss for that player.

  • Players with better performance gets more XP.
