Can we get other colors for coatings

Why are there so many coatings focused on red/blue. Ive been waiting for a black and gold armor coating (theres only weapon coatings for that though of course🙄).

Of course the weekly challenge coating is a red coating. And the other coating in the shop is restricted to the armor set i will never use.

343, there is no way y’all sat down and one person didnt even try to say “hey this coating idea sucks” cause if that’s true, that is truly, truly sad

Because 343 is a US-company and suffers from the illness more people from the US have: they don’t realize there is more in the world then only the US.

And here we have another key problem with halo infinite.
Millions of possible permutations and we get blue, red and grey.

The single nicest colour was the cyber pink from the cyber showdown event…not chrome though…scuffed up fushia

It’s like they’re not even trying.

Honestly - if you’re going to lock colours behind a paywall at least tease us with the odd decent one.

343: we heard you wanted more colors so we added green

A more plausible theory is that they’re having trouble letting go of their RvB past and are making red and blue coatings for each armor core to appease those who are against the outline system.

The coating idea in the way 343 implemented it sucks, but there is still a good idea there. I always point to the Anthem beta when it comes to armor customization. They could make colors free, but still make money off of patterns and textures if they so choose. I still haven’t seen a game implement what Anthem did yet, probably because the shareholders don’t think they’ll make as much profit if they don’t monetize every little thing.

See when i first heard of the coating idea i thought it was going to be like anthem. Where we have control of our colors and the coatings would be patterns, wear and tear, etc…Then when i heard what it actually was i was still “okay” with it. Then when i found out coatings are restricted to cores i was against it. Now, when i see the only colors we get are red, blue, and gray im just fed up

Don’t forget about green

Halo 3 had color palets you could buy for 3$ I believe. You had your basic plain jane colors for free, but if you wanted a Matte palet or Gloss you had to pay some cash for it. I had no problem doing that 15 years ago. “Hey pops, here’s 10$, I’m buying some colors on Halo”. Even my dad would play with me and we’d both mess around with the colors and armors we had. Good times then.

What the hell are you on about?

Halo 3 had map packs, that’s it.

Tell me about it dude. I’m still waiting for a black and navy.

That’s all BS and anyone who has played Halo 3 is going to call you out on it. We have never had to pay for armor colors until now and it’s BS.

There’s now a new set of Gold Armor in the game, that for whatever reason gave it some light neon green coloring in with it. I guess that’s something.

I think I wouldn’t mind a slick Yellow/Purple set up. I’d like a Red and Purple set up for my Mark V and VII armor personally.

So many colors set ups to choose from, I Really wish there was at least a way to request colors, so we get a better chance at what we the players want. But… Whatever…

We shouldn’t have to ask. We should be able to just pick our colors like we’ve been able to do for 20 years, but god forbid they possibly do something in the interest of players instead of monetary gain.

Of course, for ÂŁ9.99 in Spartan credits you can get a brown

I wish we could break these colour modules up and mix and match segments.

Maybe this is intended strategy though, because some people are buying cosmetics. A lot of them look bit too gaudy. I just want something other than the same old colour tones.

Someone please buy 343i a colour wheel and some pantone charts.

I want a coating that makes it look like my Spartan’s armor was built from a cardboard box.
