Idk if this is a joke (if so lol) but in all seriousness I think the least we can do is give Joseph ample time to “get up to speed” as he said in his Twitter post. He also said “don’t expect to hear much from me” and that he will be “very busy.” Let’s cut him some slack eh? Again if “Joseph Staphom” is a joke ignore this lol.
As Campaign Project Lead I imagine Joe will be pouring over scripts, gameplay sequences, music, gameplay assets etc. as we speak to familiarise himself with what 343 (and development partners) have done so far. Not to mention pouring over the mountain of feedback from across the internet. I imagine he will then be very busy trying to bring the campaign up to snuff in order to deliver a fantastic Halo experience later in 2021 (or 2022 at this point?). Tough decisions will have to be made. Perhaps the campaign will be next gen only (like Black Ops 3) and only the multiplayer ships for Xbox One? Who knows? I wish him all the best. Trying to restore Halo to what it once was is no easy feat at this point, and it is not only a herculean task for Joe, but for all of 343 and its development partners. But Joseph Staten is one of the best people they could bring in to help Halo get back on track so it shows they are trying.
Let’s give Joe the space and the freedom to help make this game the best it can be.
If you’re reading this Joe (or other 343 staff), best of luck! I hope the game can live up to what was shown in E3 2018/19 - I much prefer that to what was shown in the recent gameplay demo.
