Yeah yeah I know the community here despises H5, but hear me out.
Something Halo 5 did great was the challenges, for example weapon challenges gave u XP or REQ packs on lower levels (ex 5 kill w/ a Needler) and then the latest level would give you a nameplate for that weapon (100 kill with a Needler)
I wish we could have something similar (replacing packs with normal XP or even dare I say challenge swaps, since 343 seem to like giving those out) that would be outside of he weekly challenges. It would be a nice way see how our overall progression is doing and maybe incentivize people to try out new weapons. And for those that really like a weapon, they can have a nameplate (or stance) to show it
For the xp reward it would have to be something small like 100xp, so that people don’t feel forced to grind them to lvl up, it needs to be more like a fun side note to say “Hey that guy really likes the cindershot, he got the nameplate” or “hey look that guy has the nnija nameplate, beter watch out!”
