Can we get an Off Topic forum like The Flood?

I think an off topic forum on Waypoint would be great for the Halo community. It would be a great way to get to know more about each other, and a great way to post topics that you’re unsure of where it belongs whether it’s really Halo related or not.

It would bring a lot of Floodians to Waypoint as well.

All agree?

• An off topic area was tried, and it failed
• We got the Yo! thread as a workaround

Whether one will become a permanent part in the future is unknown, though at this point, it’s doubtful

Closest thing is Yo! in General Discussion.

Yeah, tho I don’t remember the off topic forum board that we had in the gamma testing, but from what I’ve seen from the general halo community, they can’t handle having an off topic forum board, because most of the people in the general halo community, are bubble headed, mindless morons, who posts mindless dribble all the time.

Just in case people get offend by what I said, what I said is more geared toward those who do nothing buy post mindless troll threads, thus those who post over at the flood forum boards on Bungie’s forums.

In a nutshell the above, another reason, Bungie’s forum was general games they had made, while this forum is strictly Xbox & Halo, if you want to discuss off-topic, Yo! is available, for a proper off-topic section, it won’t happen here, it’s a Halo forum.
