I would really enjoy a playlist featuring all the DLC maps. I need some castle and majestic achievements which are pretty impossible to get now and I feel semi-ripped off because you never play the DLC in normal matchmaking. This playlist could just be like 5v5 and have slayer and objective. Anyone else agree?
The reason why there isn’t an all DLC Playlist is because the DLC Maps aren’t all the same scale.
The Castle and Crimson Map Packs focus on Big Team Battle while the Majestic and Bullseye are centered on smaller teams. It would be essentially impossible to have an all DLC Playlist without splitting it in two.
Instead of having an all DLC Playlist, I’d actually like to see my DLC maps come into the MAP ROTATION MORE OFTEN. I want to see at least ONE DLC map in every voting round.
Luckily, the Halo 4 GOTY Edition offers it’s buyers all of the DLC Maps, meaning that 343i will likely fully incorporate DLC into matchmaking. After the Halo 4 GOTY launches, there really isn’t an excuse to not have the DLC yet.
