Can we get a season 2 pass? (Flood Leaders, Proms)

instead of letting the game die they should continue adding new leaders, maps and cards.

Honestly, I’d rather they just focus on Halo Wars 3 as opposed to more content. After ATN we will have a lot to work with. Might just be me, but I’d much rather space battles be added instead of Promethean/Flood factions.

Not a fan of season pass’s but Flood faction would be interesting. Doubt we’ll get HW3 anytime soon, it be good way to fund an improved HW3.

Yeah, but only future me can play Halo Wars 3 and that guy can go Yoink himself. I’d love to see them continue to add content to Halo Wars 2 after ATN

If they are going doing a Halo Wars 3 I’d expect it to release in 2019 or 2020. Making use of the current engine and using a lot of the current content would help keep development costs low.

I can’t see them go any other way besides a 3rd faction, I can’t think of any RTS games that added another layer successfully. The current unit cap is smaller than HW1, the camera can’t zoom out that far and supposedly the engine or Xbox One can’t support new skins so I don’t think another layer is technically feasible.

The game has a lot of content and will have even more when the flood expansion comes out. Breath in what we have now and enjoy it. Today we are getting the story dlc and a leader plus a huge patch. Its time for honor, join me in the answering the call.

Never played it but it does look good, I had Planetary Annihilation in my head and I didn’t think that was very impressive. I don’t have too much faith in the power of the Xbox One but maybe they could optimise the engine further.

The devs are in a tricky spot either way, they have to add more to the game but keep it accessible.

Empire at War is a classic that you’re missing out on. There’s also Sins of the Prophets (a Sins of a Solar Empire Halo mod), which is amazing.

If they hold off till the next generation of consoles they could have more hardware to work with. That said if they take that long I think you’d need maps at a minimum.

I doubt there will be HW3. Based on the sales numbers it looks like HW2 sold less than 25% the copies HW1 did.

Not to mention the online population is extremely small. 1v1 population is dead for sure. When you matched against the same people over and over that probably means the activity is less than 100 people or so.

Created and Flood would be a nice bonus but it would be better to have more maps and game modes.
