Ok so I just started playing the CE Randomizer mod, and let me tell you, this is the kind of mod that should 100% be a feature, nothing to balance, just pure chaos, every run becomes unique, every run feels different, 343, if possible please look into doing something like this for campaign.
Yeah, several times I’ve suggested a Skull that randomizes enemies/allies/weapons/vehicles/grenades/equipment and/or remix the Playlists so they’re not redundant and so they can have their own leaderboards.
more options like this are never a bad thing as it essentially changes the playthrough experience. I personally wouldn’t want weapons to be random or at least I’d prefer a means to tailor a choice of sorts. There’s so much they could add frankly to allow for even more longevity but it never happens
I will say this, I believe if we as a community ask 343 enough for this feature, it will eventually happen. As for weapon randomization I could see that being a toggle, but I ,mean weapons and vehicles would have to be randomized to some degree as a default.
I’ve beaten the CE Randomizer the other day, working on a H2A rando currently, and have messed around with the H3 rando. Let me tell you, randomization + Bandanna Skull = DOOM Chief. Seriously I went through Seirra 117 with a Spartan Laser and fire grenades only, no melee, no secondary weapon, no other grenades.
It was the most fun I’ve had playing a Halo Campaign.
