I don’t really get why this was removed. I understand that you don’t want people to sit in lobbies and keep trying to get other maps, but frankly, I would love to have the option to say “I can’t stand these maps with these gametypes. I’ll vote for a different round of choices.”
Anyone else want this back?
No. Especially with dedicated gametype playlists, this would further dilute what is played. And plus, its just a time suck to have the whole round of voting tick down, then the reselection…just, no.
Just bring back the veto option in Halo 3. You get one map and one gametype to vote. If you don’t like it we’ll make you play another one. It was always fun when you were sitting on the fence, not knowing whether to veto. Then you get stuck with something crappy like team duels. Then you just laugh at how stupid you were to veto the first one.
In all seriousness though, the veto option and not allowing players to back out once a gametype has been chosen would definitely help everything out.

Indeed and it would work so mutch better in Halo 4 since the only thing we are voting for so far in a playlist are maps.
WHy they removed Halo 3’s multiplayer selection feature I have no clue.
It was great, but the system selected only so many maps (the same 5, in my experience).
Yeah. I would like to have it back.
