Okay so I’m trying to design a Sky Wars kind of map, and I keep running into the same problem, vehciles. There’s a red, blue, and green base, each one has an air vehicle. The problem is the Wasps are too weak, the Banshees are too cheap, and the Phaetons are just flat out broken! I’m asking for a vehicle that can boost, but not flip, also it can hold it’s own very well and deal a signifigant amount of damage before overheating/reloading. I figured since every other faction was taken, why not ask for a Brute Air Vehicle, Brutes are good at making weapons and vehicles that are both sturdy and strong so I figured let’s spitball here and see what happens.
That would be something cool that they could add to both halo wars and halo 5
Must Brute stuff is sturdy and strong, but they are heavy too. I doubt they would make a flying vehicle. The Prophets were the engineers/makers of new tech, accepting help from the other races. They have the Banished Banshee, but that’s just a refitting of a Normal Banshee. I highly doubt that there’s a concept for a pure Jiralhanae (whoever it is written) air vehicle.
In my mind I imagine the Brutes flying something like Boba Fett’s ship.
Brutes are so cool
I imagine it would be like a massive drone with the aesthetic of the chopper or prowler. It could have a main plasma cannon or powerful brute shot on top then maybe a spirit/phantom turret.
I think it should be like a flying scorpion in the sense that its slow but packs a lot of punch. We still lack an air vehicle that has any sort of mortar or highly explosive weapon. Maybe that could be its use. TBH though I’d much prefer for them to focus on promethean/forunner vehicles. I think that there should be a fast attack bike like the one in command and conquer 3 that nod had.
Vampire for Halo Wars 1 fits the bill.
Brutes can still fly banshees, they did in H2 and H3. They are present in HW2 as well.
Honestly, the Brutes would have something like a helicopter, something with propellers. Get to the Choppa!
What, you mean like the Blisterback? Thats probably as close as we’ll get to a full on Brute air vehicle.
the blisterback would be awesome in H5

it would be a sitting duck though and would get sniped by lasers all day
I think that in Halo 6 where we see a lot more of the Banished, we may get an automatic, non artillery version of the Blisterback.
It would be pretty cool

This is exactly what I thought of right off the bat. Something that looks like the front end of a Chopper with an exposed seating area. Fires small bursts of bullets or Brute Shots by the pair/4s. When it gets defeated, it becomes a heavy ball of death that crashes down on the foe. up-REQ version could be equipped with explosives to do area damage when impacting the ground.

In previous games there’ve never been any Brute air vehicles, and for good reason. In Contact Harvest it basically says Brutes are, well, brutal, not terribly smart. They have crude technology.
To fit in the the Halo plot they’d have to add Brutes into the storyline again, or say that in another system or something there’s a conflict with Brutes.
They should add the Prowlers and Choppers back though…
A little too late I think

So you’re just gonna ignore the fact that Atriox is like Alber Einstein and Thomas Edison combined into a Brute Body? Seriosuly Atriox has enough intellect to be able to make up blueprints for an air vehicle. So no, Brutes are not as “Brutish” as they used to be. In fact they probably compare with the Elites from Halos 2 and 3 in terms of intellect at this point.
I think we’ll see Brutes in H6 so there’s always hope.

Well sure that’s fine for Halo Wars 2, but not Halo 5. Plus, Atriox is kind of the exception for Jiralhanae intellect

Dude let’s face, multiplayer cannon is stupid, and using cannon as an excuse is even dumber than that. I believe that if Atriox coordinated Brutes properly he could invent a very well toned flying death machine. And HW2 takes place around the same time as Halo 5, so yeah. Also isn’t the major speculation right now that the final H5 update will be HW2 themed?
