Can We Get a Better Report System?

The only way I know that we can report cheaters is to go to the “Recent” tab and click the report button that takes us to Waypoint Support. I don’t like this because the whole Recent tab is broken and doesn’t update most of the time. I don’t know what happens when you report someone through console using that method, but I’m assuming it uses the terrible built in Explorer browser, which sucks even more having to navigate that with a controller.

I would prefer if they allowed us to report people from the scoreboards after the game and through Match History. I understand they need video proof for hackusations, but it’d be nice if we just had a general report for cheating that doesn’t take us to Waypoint Support, and once it got enough flags someone would take a look into the account in question.

I’m also hoping theater gets fixed, because it’s not always obvious when watching it through the current broken version of it. You can only really get somebody on wall hacking, since watching gunfights back is way off from what actually happened if someone is aimbotting, unless it’s like the guy I ran into today where he’s not even trying to hide it. It’d be even sweeter if his account got banned because he has purchased items from the store, basically wasting his money.

Feel free to add some of your suggestions on how 343 could improve the current report system.

There just needs to be an ingame report function. Like in post game stats where you can view their profile, Hold X to report.

As it stands currently, the report system is more tedious and takes longer than a would be cheater to make a new account.

I’ve encountered a handful of hackers, but can’t be bothered to report them because I’m on console and that requires me to use an entirely separate device to report someone. Let alone transfer over photo/video evidence, etc.

That is a problem.
