I would rather have Doubles, but a 1v1 playlist as a weekend playlist would be fun.
I don’t think 1v1 solves the problem of determining a player’s overall skill. It is a very specific situation that, in my mind, doesn’t come close to testing true Halo skill.
That being said, it seems like a cool idea for a social weekend playlist. But nothing more.

There are plenty of forums, including this one, that you can find people for 1v1. There is a reason why a 1v1 playlist has not returned since H2.

Pretend you’re twelve and just got beat and message everybody repeatedly to ‘1 v 1 me brah’ and throw in some comments about how amorous you’ve been with their mothers and eventually someone will take you up on the offer.

Currently ffa is how well you camp and steal kills end of, if you run away in a 1v1 you just look like a -Yoink-
