Can we fix LSS endgame spawns

Can we stop having showdown spawns being way outside the circle? I spawned 175m from the final circle this past game.

Ouch.

They did talk about having to have spawn options outside the circle - otherwise it ended up being a bit unfair.

Maybe they need to give the player just enough OS to make it to the zone with 100% health and shields.

That is a problem, one thing that I think could help would be to introduce the death circle earlier to help encourage earlier engagements. It should be a rare occasion to see the smallest radius.

Or spawn us with 25% overshields so we can at least get back to the circle with full health.

Why not just spawn with a timer where you are temporarily immune to the circle damage. OS complicates things because you could potentially arrive at the circle with an unearned advantage.

Frankly, multiple lives and no parachute respawns outright breaks modes like this into being utterly one sided. Wild that 343’s choice to tackling that problem was to do nothing and just ship it.

That is probably best if 343 could figure out a way to distinguish between normal damage and the circle’s damage. That way engagements with the respawner still out of the circle do not punish them. It would have to be a short timer though, otherwise the respawner has much better intel and movement options.

I feel like this could work with it just dropping as soon as you enter the circle. Imagine just a half full os and being next to a grappling hook when you spawn.

If we’re talking a 1v1 endgame here… could both player’s respawn? Give the killer a few seconds to scavenge anything they need from the body… and then restart. That could be a way of keeping things nice and simple?

Would obviously be a bit trickier with 1v1v1 etc.
