I’m hoping this is possible. I’ll know how much health they have when they are dead.
Not a huge deal, but I’d be glad to remove this unnecessary non-immersive information.

Personally I want this as an option. That said if it is an option I will run through with boss healthbars on my first run then turn it off after that.
I don’t see it as none immersive info as it could easily be a tac readout from the hud OS.
given that in-world communication of an enemy’s status was always done exceptionally well in halo, health bars are a very gratuitous and unwelcome addition. the option to remove them is critical. they should honestly be off by default.
Wholeheartedly agree. It was always cool in halo seeing the floods arms fall off or the brutes armor break or the jackals shield or the hunters armor or the grunts backback. There’s probably a few more in there I’m forgetting but the healthbar needs to go
Careful bud, you’re suggesting a rational and beneficial feature.
Halo Waypoint doesn’t like rationality.
I’ve got an overshield, I’m ready for the stupid.
Halo boss battles have always been lame, I don’t expect the presence or absence of a health bar to impact that in any meaningful way.
I would prefer boss’s health to be conveyed by the state of their armor, just like vehicles get more damaged.
Well I think its necessary and immersion enhancing. I don’t want to shoot at a shieldless enemy for however long it takes without knowing what their health is at. It’ll also let me know if I’m able to make a big play against the enemy or not.
