Lately, I think most people are waiting for that perfect weekly update to happen. Well! I am asking 343 industries to have a forum topic somewhere where we can vote on the next weekly update.
This is how I think it should go…
First, you give us maybe 3 different poll choices to choose from. The 3 would be like… Bug fixes, Add maps (Like forge maps), or Add gamemode.
Second, we vote!
Lastly, Which ever one has the most votes, that will be the main thing to do for the next update!!!

I would love to vote for game modes to use the next week, but choosing between bug fixes and new game modes?
Bugs is something the developers fix, not something the players vote for, against new maps and game modes.
“Oh sorry our dear players, that nasty bug that you found a couple of weeks ago won’t be fixed this week either since the majority wants to play Banana Mash in Ice Cram Land all week.”
Game development doesn’t work that way. They can take our feedback and try their best to cater to it somewhat, but at the end of the day they have to prioritize based on the biggest issues facing the largest number of users, and squash bugs as they can. As for feature additions, the same thing applies. They have an internal road map for what they think the biggest priority should be, and milestones they have to hit at certain times (or as close to them as possible) as they go forward.
They can evolve that road map, and incorporate feedback into it, but not on a regular voting basis in the way that you suggest. It would be nice though, I admit.
He’s got a point really. There’s essentially nothing stopping 343 from creating a poll regarding which gametype we wanna see next, then implementing it soon after. That parts a good idea
