I definitely wouldn’t say its fine. It has some serious jank to it.
Power weapons should be easy, otherwise what’s the point of trying to control them? I would be in favor of a Halo 2 Sniper which was both easy and skillful to use.
It should be hard to use, the problem is that the bullets only go where you shoot if you’re scoped in. Everything else is rng bloom.
It could use a slight tweak, but it is still a skill weapon. It needs to be a skill weapon, if there ever is a battle royale, the sniper needs to be able to dominate using its range, while the other two fall behind
If halo ever gets a battle royal ill never play halo again.
I’d argue that it shouldn’t be designed that way. I see no reason to use it that way unless someone gets the drop on you which is your fault for not watching your surroundings, and not changing firing positions often enough.
Are you playing on controller or KBM?
KBM is known to use aim-resist to actively handicap KBM players from using the sniper rifle in a hip fire method.
Bye. If you don’t like it, then you don’t have to play. But there is a good chance Halo will get a battle royale, we must hope they make it good
It will be the permanent death of halo. Not everything needs a damn battle royal. Go play the dozens of other copy cat BRs out there.
I probably missed something in the controls settings pages
, but at the moment, my toggle sights button makes the sniper go from Zoomed In > Even More Zoomed In > No Zoom (hip fire)
Is there any way to jump from Zoomed In to No Zoom?
I can’t say I agree, as someone who has good days on the rarest of occasions, I find the Infinite Sniper pretty easy to handle.
They really gotta get rid of aim resist. It’s a pain in the keister.
What if it was a CTF BR?
