No, because that’s already what Pro settings are. Difference between Pro and Legendary at the moment seems to be starting weapon and radar. Go play your Pro and leave Legendary alone.

there’s NO pro playlist
Legendary slayer could be the NEW PRO style playlist then 343 could remove PRO from other slayer lists - PLEASE keep in BTB
BR only = I like and i will play
AR only = I no likeeee and I no playeee
I’ve lived through SMG start on H2 Coagulation, AR start on H3 and desperately trying to get my hands on a BR before getting spawn-killed.
Part of the reason I love H4 is that I can spawn with any weapon I want, decreasing the chance of getting spawn-killed, and insuring I’ll have a fairer fight when I first engage someone.
I think it just hilarious its an AR start. Either A) 343 has bowed to all the skilless noobs who believe AR and BR are comparable weapons. Or B) 343 is more out of touch than I imagined.

It doesnt matter that there’s no pro playlist. 90% of the time pro gets voted for in IS and Majestic anyways, so it may as well be a Pro playlist.
I would love to see Legendary BR’s and I truly think it will be added at some point. With that they should remove the voting as we all know it will end up being nothing but BR’s that gets voted for and there are players that don’t want to play BR starts. There always has been and always will be.
> I’d rather not the BR, we already have a playlist for that. I’d rather a choice between AR/Magnum, or DMR/AR.
Why would you ever choose the magnum spawn when you could choose the dmr one? Or are you saying alternate settings?
Regardless, the assault rifle is a much more viable weapon than at any point since the original game had LAN parties. comparing this to smg starts in halo 3 is a little disingenuous. I get the concerns, but barring a full on spawn lock, its been a while since you were not able to get your hands on a precision weapon fairly easily.

Alternate settings, of course. Something for everyone.

The AR is good at in this game, but it’s best as a pickup. It simply does not have the range and accuracy for it to contend against precision weapons that are further out. Having the AR as a pickup gives players the choice to take on a close-range specialty role, forcing players to spawn with it forces this play style on everyone until they can find a DMR or BR.

Sounds like the perfect opportunity to remove Pro from Infinity Slayer and add it to Legendary Slayer.

I’m flashing back to H3 on The Pit when a good team would take all the BRs on the map and spawn-kill the ish out of ur team.
Even if ur team was competive, in a high-level gm u don’t live too long, and the BRs don’t respawn fast enough, U therefore are usually left to fight ur AR vs their BR.
Starting without a precision weapon is a step backward.

The Pit was one of the more restrictive levels in terms of precision weapons, but I thought between the duel smg spawns and sword/overshield areas, it wasn’t game breaking. Keep in mind that set ups are harder to achieve now because of how spawn points are handled differently. Assault rifle is also much more versatile than the SMG was.

If your team loses control of all the precision weapons and power weapons and proceeds to get spawn camped and destroyed then you simply got out played. Each team has the exact same chance of spawn to control the map and win the game. Played the Pit with AR starts the other day. Had zero issues getting a precision weapon. There is 3 BR’s on either side.

The question is if it can snowball on you. Its like playing “make it take it.” You can be just as good as someone, but if they are the first person to effectively execute their offense they can end up beating you BADLY even if you are pretty evenly matched.
Is it fair? Yeah, you both had the same rules. Is it fun? Not if its too easy to snowball.
I think the complaint is a little overblown on most maps. I think Sanctuary might be the worst map I’ve seen for spawn locks.
