The title says it all, really. For any player that has made champion, the current displayed rank on Waypoint is rather misleading. It displays the CSR you had when you hit your highest champion number, not the highest champion number when you had your highest CSR.
This current system basically makes it so that if you hit champion early in the season (like, really early, in some cases), your “top CSR” will only be like 1800 at a high level of champion. For those of us who have climbed much higher than that, it’s rather frustrating. I’d much rather have the #15 top slot that I actually worked and earned in Season 2 displayed than my #4 slot from when I just happened to play a lot the day season 3 started. The #4 slot just doesn’t feel as real to me, I didn’t earn it. It also makes evaluating skill of other player on the forums much more difficult, as you don’t know if they just barely made champ or if they actually climbed higher on the ladder.

I fully advocate this change, if at all possible please make it happen.

They should just have a small section with what your CSR was like at the end of the season like:
season:1 diamond 5
season 2: Onyx 1754
season 3: champ156
something like that.
