Warzone has become unplayable ever since surpassing Spartan Rank 135. After a mere 1-3 minutes of gameplay, if a team fails to capture the center base (monument, spire, fortress, etc.) half of the team quits. Most of the time they are highly ranked players who quit.
Subsequently, lower ranked Spartans spawn into the match and immediately quit seeing that they have an uphill battle.
Lastly, the opposing team made up of 5 banshees 3 wraiths and 5 snipers wipe the floor with the 5 remaining Spartans who chose to stay in the game.
I have lost the last 10 Warzone games, not because of poor matchmaking or a lack of skill, but because half the team quits. Reporting quitting is clearly having little to no effect.
Warzone is unplayable. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
They should implement system, where after a certain amount of quit matches (lets say 3-4) it temporarily bans you from matchmaking for 30 mins and if you continue to quit after first ban have the amount of time banned increase up to a max amount of 8-10 hrs after several matchmaking bans.

We already have a ban system that works.
Your system is way to harsh in my eyes.
There are already plenty of people complaining the system is to harsh and your idea would just make it worser.
I think the reason people are quitting Warzone after the enemy team has capped the middle base is because it becomes a losing battle in their eyes. Which in most cases is true. After one team captures the first base, they are able to hold it with strong REQ superior to their opposition.

I don’t think adding a new ban system would help this situation. People are going to leave games they don’t think they’ll win. Adding this ban system would only make some of them stay for the ride longer. even though they wont enjoy it, they’ll stay. This is not good. And once they get banned, they’ll just go off and play something else after and during the ban, making the playlist population shrink.
What we need to do is target what is making players leave this early in the first place. I believe the main reason for people leaving this early is they know that they’re the underdogs for the rest of the fight. I believe adding a REQ progression increase to the team who are not holding more then one base. This would give the underdog team a chance to take the middle base. This would eliminate the reasoning behind the “underdog” theory. This would give people more reason to stay in games and make the game funner for the players if they stay.
There’s plenty of WZ feedback threads out there already.
