Can users with offensive names be banned?

Well I’ve wondered this for a while, I might have even asked this in the past but I completely forgot the answer.

Usually it wouldn’t bother me on other forums, but your name on this forum is your gamertag on Xbox LIVE, if it was offensive on a large scale, you wouldn’t be allowed it, but I have seen some names on here that are offensive.

So, can users with offensive names be banned?

Im pretty sure if they get reported enough, They are forced to change their gamer tag. But its free to change name if forced.

Yeah, I keep seeing some real colorful ones multiplayer matchmaking. although, he individuals usually accompanied with a low gamer score; suggesting they have been bounced before.

Postscript: that is an original gamer tag Frickin Wench.

Thanks :smiley: but in all honesty if you put “Frickin” before what you wanna call yourself (Bearing in mind its not too long) alot of it is avaliable, i was amazed at all the names you could have it without it being taken. No numbers, symbols what so ever :smiley: I ain’t keen on names with numbers… symbols i don’t mind as much

Gotta admit i am surprised i didn’t get bad for any of my old ones… but back in the day people had probably more of a sense of humor, everything and almost everyone is so strict and up tight
