Dose anyone know if you an buy certain armour pieces separately from the website or game?
Nope. Comes either through REQ packs or through special community involved events, such as the Halo Championship Series Armor set. Or the Beta armors, usually they are one time offerings. But as far as I know, you can’t purchase single pieces through the Xbox Store or Halo 5’s in-game transaction menu.
I have to wonder if someday, once H5 population REALLY starts to drop and they begin gearing up for the next game, and they’re sure they’re not going to make much more money off REQ’s, if they won’t expand access to the REQ collection somehow, either by unlocking everything for everyone, or offering to let us purchase items a la carte.
I’d happily pay a reasonable sum of real world money for my Mark IV armor and a Halo 2 BR or a DMR, if I knew for certain I was getting those exact items. But spend money on a pack that gives me a one in hundreds chance of getting them? Nope. Sorry. Not a chance.
Nope. You only get them by req packs or as gifts for the HCS
