I know this has already been talked about but why would they
allow you to throw the oddball but then removed the ability to
drop the flag.
Honestly why didn’t they add the ability to throw the flag as well lol
They could make it to where you throw the flag 5-10ft.
Why add something that isn’t necessary and then remove something that was
necessary. Don’t get me wrong throwing the oddball is a great new addition and
I applaud the new idea but why remove flag dropping?
What do you guys think about this and would you like the ability to throw the flag like the oddball in the future?
As much as i hate that you cant drop the flag, these comments and the “dont get the game then… you wont be missed” just blow my mind
You do realize that the addition of poor features is why reach is dead in almost all playlists? You say you wont miss people… what about when there are less than 2k people in a given playlist, or even less than 1k as in some reach playlists and you are forced to play with the same people over and over again?

I’m willing to give it a try, but not with randoms (Unless I feel like going at it alone). I still prefer the classic way. Trueskill better work this time around.
Seems like you auto pickup the ball as well… going to be VERY frustrating when trying to defend a CQ location so your teammates can come pick up the ball.

That is what I find a little strange you can drop or even throw the oddball but cannot drop the flag. so the reasoning is kind of illogical. I do not really care either way just need to get their reasoning straight.

I like this change, I hated that you couldn’t tell where the enemy was with your flag till they either dropped it or captured it. Also it stops trolls from stopping your team from capturing any flags.
First off, they changed it for the better.

It’s change and you need to live with it.
Second, it could be possible that 343 could make classic variations of both CTF and Oddball, it’s just that we don’t know if/highly unlikely it will happen.
Besides most of us haven’t tried it yet, so complain about it until you at least touched the game for a few hours.
