Can these questions be answered?

Ok I have a few questions Id like answered if you fine gents wouldn’t mind.

1.The Didact is a Promethean, and Promethean’s are warrior Forerunners, But they look a lot like machines… So are these Prometheans just AI or do they have gooey bits in them, if not then how did flood beat them so bad, machines sould have a lot better time killing flood then organics right?

2.In the new gameplay trailer posted its said the forerunner have returned, How? Does any one know?

3.Blue to red thing… does any one know yet why the Prometheans when they revive are blue but later they are red?

  1. Spartan 4’s can be infected by flood, I thought that surgery prevented that or something?

1.No PRMETHEANs are not robots they are flesh and blood FOURUNNERs, that underwent a few gentic mutations to make them stronger and faster on the battlefield, so they are practicaly FOURUNNER SPARTANs in a sense.

2.Cause the UNSC INFINITY has crashed on REQUIEM and encountered the PROMETHEANs which are FOURUNNERs.

3.Not sure but its probaly something like when the PROMETHEAN is revived its not forever and they are still due to exspire soon.

4.SPARTANS are supersoldiers not robots either so if the FLOOD can manage to get past the armor layer and into the bio-mass they can take SPARTAN as a host, and to answer the question about their genetic agmentation perventing the FLOOD from taking over their body, well no the agmentations for the SPARTANS where never designed to combat FLOOD they where made to fight rebels, but eventualy where found to be the last line of defense against the COVIEs, and for 30+ years they did that very well, but the FLOOD was a sudden and new threat. And by the time the SPARTAN IV program was launched the FLOOD threat had been elimanated.

These promethians are remarkably different from actual forerunner who were completely organic. There is something detailed in Halo Primordium. Its called The Composer. This may be why the promethians and the Didact apear to be mechanical. They may hav used the Composer to fully preserve themselves in a very efficient manner.

The Didact fired the halo array from the Ark which as stated by 343 GS in Halo. “The Ark is outside the range of all the other installations” May not be the exact quote. It is very possible that there may have been many Forerunners on the Ark at the firing of the Array.

> 3.Blue to red thing… does any one know yet why the Prometheans when they revive are blue but later they are red?

You probably know about as much about this as anyone else.

> 4. Spartan 4’s can be infected by flood, I thought that surgery prevented that or something?

The augmentation process does not prevent this in any manner.
Sergeant Johnson was immune due to the effects of Borens syndrome I belive its called. This disease was caused by the effects of experimental augmentations performed in the Orion project from whcht the Spartan Program was based. Borens syndrome causes the nervous system to become cluttered with random minor electrical impules. Flood infection form tap the nervous system after they implant themselves in order to assume control but Borens syndrome prevents them from affecting Johnson. Spartans do not have Borens syndrome.

General consensus is that when the Promethean knights are blue, they are on their default ‘setting’ which is simply to defend Requiem from invaders. When they are orange, they are being controlled by the Didact.

Also, multiplayer is now canon and takes place on the training holodeck onboard the UNSC Infinity. This is a potential answer for the Flood Spartans, as it’s a simulation.
