I dont know about anyone else but its super annoying having the gold pack packs at the front before the actual req packs. If you don’t know what I mean its the gold pack things that you can buy with real money that give you like 7 gold packs. Anyway its annoying when I want to buy a gold pack and they are right in my face and I accidently click on them so that I wait a few minutes for the store to load and everything like that then just to cancel the purchase. It seems like 343 are just doing it to shove them in your face to force a purchase.
I hate when I click the paid packs by mistake cause the game crashes but it takes its time and I can’t just back out.

This is almost the very definition of product placement.

This is a typical sales tactic!

Nice pun. It is annoying when they are in the front.
What do you expect? It’s micro transactions after all. They want you to buy them with real money.
Yeah, if anything deserves to be at the front of the req packs it’s the ability to play as an elite.
I’D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR!

You. I see what you did there.

yeah but its also shoving them in your face which like I stated is very annoying.
Yes, it is annoying, but it is a common and often effective business practice. I really don’t think it is so bad that it needs changing, but then again I’m not a person who can be persuaded to buy something just because it’s put right in front of my face.

I believe this is exactly this
Yes it is very annoying. See if they told me they were making millions opon millions more by having those packs at the front I would understand. But I’m going to assume they are not making significantly more money by shoving those packs in our faces. So their is no reason to piss us off more.
It doesn’t particularly bother me, though I guess I can see why others might be annoyed by this. I don’t think I have ever accidentally clicked on one of the paid packs, but it looks like it’s fairly common.

I guess the next logical step would be when you try to make your way to other packs you buy with points there is a pop up that says:
Are you sure you don’t want the most popular pack? (Y/N)
Are you sure you don’t want the best value pack? (Y/N)
Then a 3rd pop up that says please enter your birthdate.MM DD YYYY
Then a 4th pop up that says the only way to protect your Halo account is with a Cell/Mobile number. Please enter…
Are you sure you don’t want to protect your account? …Jumps out window.

To celebrate this new strategy you get a free “Shove it” Req card.
Considering it’s boosting sales for Gold Packs, I’m going to take a wild guess and say that they are going to stay right there.
I do agree though, it’s annoying. I’ve only clicked on it once, but it stalled my game for a good five minutes and then it crashed.

lol
I understand why they do it, but it is annoying. It’s even worse when they have a special REQ pack available because it means more scrolling to the right before I can get to the pack that I want. I hope they change the format in H6. Maybe have submenu for the pay REQ’s.
Lmfao first world problems
Completely agree, its very annoying
