It counted for the winter event, so why not Tenrai?

It didn’t count for The Winter Contingency. That progression wasn’t actually linked to any challenges.
You just had to play a game each day - although your first game each day would also complete that challenge so I can see why you think they were linked.
Winter contingency was designed to be like an advent calendar so each game was like opening the door for that day. I do wish at least ur first match of the day during the event period gave a tier though. I got to maybe 8 today and seriosly never want to play fiesta again lol
Hopefully when per match XP gets added these passes aren’t solely progressed by challenges. Playing multiple games with no gain, because you didn’t do something oddly specific is kind of silly.

Well not only that, if I play a whole match and don’t “get 2 double kills” or “end 3 killing sprees” then all I get is 50 xp after all that stress it’s a waste of time.
