Can the campaign be made longer?

In basically every Halo game I think the campaign is too short. I’d like to see it become longer if possible, without sacrificing anything from the multiplayer. Is that possible or is there not enough space on one disc that has both? I get that they’re are many reasons to go back into it and play it over again, whether it’s for achievements easter eggs glitches for fun or to play different (and what ever else I missed). I don’t want it to be drawn out, like when is this gonna end type thing. And a sub story would be nice (like the terminals you guys are doing. I hope that continues). Just what I’m thinking. A handful of hours for campaign just seems too little in my eyes. Any other ideas?

Make a disc completely devoted to Campaign [with Matchmaking] and Firefight [with Matchmaking] (and Theater).

Make a second disc completely devoted to Forge (new map editor), Multiplayer Matchmaking, Custom Games [with the long coveted Matchmaking] and Theater.

Halo 3, ODST, Halo Reach were the shortest of the series. I was incredibly dissapointed by Halo 3. It’s hard to wait a year after a huge announcement with hugely over-bloated ad campaign that made the game sound so awesome…only to beat it in a matter of five hours when it finally arrives. I knew ODST was gonna be short because it was originally just an add-on. Halo Reach I expected to be short so I wasnt as hyped up for it so it didnt dissapoint me as much. But yeah, I’d like a Halo game that had a campaign that atleast equals about the same amount of time as say…Crysis 2. Obviously a campaign with the length of other games like Half Life 2 are out of the question. Hell, even CoD had relatively long campaigns from 1 to 4.

I believe that the HALO 4 will have a longer Campaign dew to the fact that it’s on a Forerunner world and the Forerunner seldom do things small and the is a new ancient enemy “Precurser” and that the Cheif may have to help cortana from a rampant Forerunner A.I. Probly “Mendicant Bias”

Crysis 2’s campaign was just right, but there’s more to how long a campaign is, Crysis 2’s it feels long cause of how much combat is based in once spot, and where you got to kill off all of the enemies in that spot before you can move on, Halo’s campaigns was a bit more "You can fight these enemies, or you can blow right past them and fight some one else. If Halo 4’s campaign had a few battles where it was like when you defend Dr. Halsey’s lab, that would help stretch out the campaign.

Halo CE has the longest missions and game time if you play it all the way through and you aren’t trying to speed through it.

The only thing I can recommend is turning on more skulls to make the game more challenging.

Its because every since the 360 came out they had a 10 mission maximum. hopefully 343i makes it longer than 10 missions
