I’ve been trying to find a H5 online match for any mode and I just can’t find any. I’ve been searching on expanded on both social and ranked games. I’m in Australia, does that have anything to do with it?
What I usually do when that happens is I quit out of halo 5 then I reset my xbox which usually gets matchmaking to start working for me again on halo 5. If that doesn’t work you might need to uninstall and reinstall the game if that doesnt work well I’m out of ideas mabye your disc is scratched if you have it on disc.

Getting this also, tried restsrting my router, xbox series s and using 4G to hotsplt wifi.
Have not reinstallef the Halo 5 game, because its Game Pass and it will take me 2-3days to do so.
Servers seem to be up, but Im not getting matched and getting “server unavailable” error.

If you’re on a Series console close the game application and restart it.
Quick Resume doesn’t work with online game servers. Your server data basically doesn’t update with quick resume which will stop you from matching.

I experienced a lot of errors last night playing h5. A player who never lags out of MM with us got lagged out, remaining in party chat, remaining online still pretty much showing it wasn’t a connection issue on his part. Tons of unable to match errors, the ones where the words are like highlighted in a red bar on the screen. Screen staying black with the loading circle spinning for a long time before kicking the entire team to the main menu etc. Multiple application restarts.
So something must have been up causing some issues for some people in MM. It went away later though. Eventually things worked as normal. Occasional hiccup, but nothing major.
