How are they supposed to know that multiplayer WORKS? Maybe it has to do with the price of keeping it up?
Call someone tell me where it was confirmed that there isn’t going to be a beta?
HOW DO YOU know there isnt going to be a BETA?
> HOW DO YOU know there isnt going to be a BETA?
because it was confirmed
If there’s no beta, I won’t be able to know if I should cancel my pre-order if the game sucks, that’s something I learned with Reach.
But were was it confirmed that there wouldn’t be a beta?

Care to give us a link?
Frank said in OXM’s interview that they are Overhelming testing and a beta could delay the game somehow.

I don’t necessarily see that as a “no”, but I’d rather have a more polished game than a beta. If it interrupts the dev process to a point where that would suffer, then I’ll live without a beta.

Then delay it. I’d rather have a working game over a broken one.
Frankie explains everything in his interview with OXM.
Confirmed no Beta, they’re going with large-scale internal testing. A Beta would “disrupt the flow” of production.
Because 343 are arrogant and think they know what we want and refuse to let us prove to them otherwise.

Halo 1 and 2 didn’t have public Betas. And they were the best Halos in the series.
They are doing PRIVATE beta testing.
I’m disappointed by the lack of a Beta, i played the Reach Beta and was extremely disappointed with it but like a chump i bought the game on release expecting some improvement’s.
The way i see it at the moment, if a Beta isn’t up to par then that could impact sale’s of Halo 4 itself.
Not happy but i should be used to disappointment by now after Reach, i guess it’s just a waiting game but i of course will buy the game anyway just to at least experience the campaign but the long term value of the game for me lies with Multiplayer so right now that is very important to me.
If it messes up with the development of the game then I’m fine without having one (not really) but it better be the best multiplayer yet. If it isn’t they better fix it fast. It’s still so far away though we haven’t seen ANYTHING. We still don’t know -Yoink- about the campaign!

Halo 1 didn’t have online and Halo 2 was completely broken and full of glitches.
Frankie said he doesn’t want the polishing process to be interupted with a BETA and he said that we shouldn’t worry because they are testing the game over and over again to make sure everything works alright and that everything is well thought out. I trust him.
And I think the people got the meaning of perks a bit too serious. I think Frankie meant something completely else with it and that it won’t be a big deal.
