Can someone please help me (aim acceleration)?

I really, really liked the aim-feel of the Halo 5 Beta, and was extremely agitated upon discovering the aiming changes made in final launch. I muttered through the changes, and became semi-comfortable while adapting.
Now, since the latest DLC and update, my aim is all over the place and aweful. I’ve heard with the addition of the aim-accelleration setting we can now have the same settings as the Beta. If I’m going to re-learn to aim, all over again, I would like to do it with that Beta feel. What aim-accelleration setting should I have?
Any advice or help links would be appreciated. Thank you forum community.

This link… I am set on sensitivity 5, aim acceleration 2 and 0/0 outer and inner deadzone
From what I have read, most player have their aim acceleration on 2, but I follow a champion on twitch and his is on 1. At this point I think somewhere between 1 and 2 get you the best feeling of your controller

Did not play beta, but from what I’ve read if you turn aim acceleration down to a 2 it’s supposed to be pretty close

Beta = 2 aim acceleration

I’ve dropped my aim accelleration to zero and while it feels sluggish to spin on the spot, I do feel it has improved my aim a little.

Thanks, guys.

I actually bumped my AA up one click because it seemed so sluggish to turn hard when people are at your 3-9 o’clock.

My 3 buddies and I play with AA at 2. Helps in that last minute turn when someone is trying to come up your flank.

Currently playing the following. It rips.

Sens: 3
Accel: 5
Deadz: 0% - 0%

Hi, currently my settings are 2 sense, 1 accel, 0/0. I placed champion 187 preseason slayer. But please use settings you are most comfortable with, set up a forge to test your aiming.

My 2 cents.

Before the release I played on sensitivity 5. I came to realize this was really done to make up for the large dead zone.

After the release:
Reduced Sensitivity to 4
Reduced Inner Dead Zone to 0% (I have Elite controller so it’s very precise with no drift)
Reduce Outer Dead Zone to 5%.
Reduced Aim Acceleration from 3 to 2 (especially useful if you do a lot of driving / flying).

Now the game feels like halo Reach / 4. I don’t miss shots or over shoot. The reticle responds to the smallest movement which is great, and also the reason I reduced sensitivity and acceleration. Good luck.

Always use 5 because there’s no such thing as an aim acceleration setting.
What they gave us is look acceleration, which is only for turning around quickly.

For smoother aiming, the key is to put inner & outer dead zones to 0 and hope your controller doesn’t have slow turn.

God bless you! This setup is actually rly good! But have one problem, how to win a close quarters combat?
