right i was told that once you get to lvl40 silver geq packs turn into gold, and that leveling promotion packs are also silver.
i heard this on the forum so was sure it was true.
all of this has been untrue just got to lvl41 and nothing but weapons in the pack.
REQ packs you buy from the store don’t change.
The level promotional packs after rank 40 will be upgraded into “silver” packs which will start to give you rare type items but never a permanent unlock(unless its a specific unlock based on rank.)

Ya, it’s not true. Only certain “milestone” levels grant Silver packs on level up. I am level 68, and the level up to 68 pack was Bronze.
If you’re talking about leveling up, the promotional packs for leveling up are basic packs most of the time. I’m level 100 basically & it only gives you a slightly better pack at certain milestones. I believe it’s like every 5 ranks you get a slightly better pack, then things like level 25, 50, 75, 100 you get a better pack even. (or maybe it’s like 10, 20, 30, etc.) I can’t remember exactly, but I do know that every time you go from like 76 to 77 you’re still just going to get a basic copper colored promotional pack.
