The reasoning for a rotational playlist?
I’m actually asking a question here.
I can’t think of any reasons to do this, why not just give us playlists we want? Why take them out whenever you feel like it? There has to be some cause for it, does anyone know?
The same reason McDonalds only offers the McRib for a few weeks each year. When something is offered all the time, it becomes normal and less desirable. To keep things fresh, you only offer it periodically, thus increasing interest.
If the playlist remained static and unchanged, you would get bored with it quickly and eventually reduce the time spent playing.
