Can someone please explain exactly how the Halo 5 ranking system works ?

It kind of sounds like they are only focusing on the top 2000 or so players skill. The 1 - 50 ranking system from H3 worked very well for me. I don’t know why they couldn’t just add the semi and pro ranks onto the end that system. It would solve the skill gaps between all the 50’s (most of which were probably kids that bought those accounts).
As long as they fix the garbage system that is in the beta it shouldn’t matter.

Because that system was flawed and it was easy to boost up.
