Hey folks I have a bit of forging problem, normally I forge Slayer, but now I’m trying to forge a Neutral Flag CTF and a Neutral Bomb Assault map, and having problems either designating the position of the Neutral Flag and the goals for the Assault map.
In the CTF, I placed a flagstand, and designated it a neutral and under ‘Advanced’ designated it as CTF for game type, yet when I go into Custom Games to test under game conditions, the flag stand is there but no flag.
In the Assault Games, I have placed Capture Plate in both bases, and designated them as AS_goal for their respective teams, yet when I play test in it Custom Games, I show up with the bomb, where the capture plate is, nothing happens - no bomb arm time, nothing.
I have compared my map to others of those types, but I have been unable to spot the critical differences.
the flag stand label should CTF_FLAG with the team set to neutral and gametype specific true, this flag will only appear on neutral and on 3 flag gametypes.
in assault you have the goals labeled correctly but did you define the teams? if not then at red base set the team to red, this sets it as the place for blue team to score and vice versa.
to get a neutral bomb then do the same as mentioned with the flag, set the point up as the bomb spawn with no team specified for it, AS_BOMB i think is the label.
That label for the flagstand is not one of the options I am given. I am offered No Label, CTF, CTF_Flag_Return, CTF_Res_Zone, CTF_Res_Zone_Away, and Team Only.
As for the Neutral Bomb map, I have the capture plates defined as Red or Blue, in their respective bases.

crap sorry, you want CTF_flag_return, this label sets the flag stand to be the spawn point of the flag and where you capture for the points.

You need labels and team assignments. AS_GOAL is where you bring the bomb; AS_BOMB is where it spawned. You’d want one AS_GOAL and AS_BOMB for each team, plus a Neutral AS_BOMB.
Just figured it out - Settings were fine, Assault requires a second controller to be signed in and in opposing color, before the bomb will arm while testing.
