Can someone explain some things to me?

I need someone who is experienced with halo 5 to answer a few questions. First, why can’t I purchase platinum packs anymore? The option was there yesterday. I was saving up to buy one and when I got my 20000 req points today, the option to purchase was gone for plat. Packs. Also, any tips on maxing req points? I’m new to halo 5 and if there is a forum on this, someone let me know. Thanks.

You may want to buy bronze or silver packs to get some basic reqs

Platinum packs were very likely just a temporary thing over Thanksgiving break similar to when they add other specialty packs for a limited time.

Here’s some advice: if you’re new to Halo 5, what you should be doing is opening silver packs until you get all the common, uncommon, and rare permanent unlocks from them (at which point they will start refunding some of your req points), and then move on to gold packs. It’s kind of a long grind, but if you don’t do it that way, then you’ll get uncommon and rare stuff from your gold packs, which is a waste of req points.

Also, some people say to start with bronze packs, but I think you’ll be fine if you skip those. Bronze packs are the only way to get Mongoose certifications, which I consider to be a detrimental thing to have unlocked. But it’s up to you.
