Only played 1 game from what i could tell its when your winning in score you are the king.

This gametype is the pits. It is actually a coin flip as far as who is going to win. I got third place going +14 or something and the guy who won went +2 and only won because he was lucky enough to get his few kills on the king more often than not. I’m fine with someone winning when they went less positive than the next guy, but that’s a HUGE gap

Whenever you kill someone you score. Whoever has the highest score at any time is the “King”. Remaining the King increases your bounty. Whenever someone kills the King, they earn points and extra points for the bounty. Whoever is the King will always remain the King, up until someone else gains a higher score and then they become the King.

Worst FFA playlist ever.

Here are my reasons:

  1. Hard to keep up a decent KD against players of even a slight skill level
  2. One game I went 27-11, guy who beat me went 20-17, it is a gametype where good players can easily be beaten by terrible players who get lucky a few times and clean up kills.
  3. No objective at all, I am not the biggest fan of Objective in FFA but it’s nice to have sometimes
  4. Even as the King, you get 1 overshield, I haven’t lasted long enough yet to see if the damage boost is infinite, would at least be good if it did, but against decent players you won’t last this long

I can’t fathom why they didn’t put a normal rumble pit in, or maybe a head to head playlist, basically unless I have 4 people online (Which I will to begin with, but it will die down) I can only play stuff where I’m constantly thrown into games where I’m losing by a huge margin already.

Don’t take this as a total whine, I absolutely love the game so far and most things about it, just about everything I don’t like can and hopefully will be fixed, like Killcams.

I think regicide should have been one mode withing the FFA playlist. Normal FFA infinity slayer would be amazing!

I don’t mind Regicide replacing FFA Slayer because I would have never played FFA Slayer anyway. I much prefer Team Slayer.

Overshield is gotten after the Kingtacular medal is earned.

This means after 20 seconds of being the king you get overshield.

Every kill is 5 points, game goes to 300.

King is worth +15–>+20–>+25–>+30–>+35 (=max bonus)

So that means that you can make up 7 kills by just killing the king.

It’s great because the action centers to the king, but dont forget to kill all other players for the regular +5 points
