I cant believe I’d ever have to ask this, in other games it’s so obvious to tell what they do. However I’m honestly abit lost to them in infinite.
Iv never used a boost yet, but you dont get exp per medal, time played etc. And only get exp via challenges.
Does this mean it’s best to use the boosts when I think I’ll complete a bunch of challenges? And is the 1hour time counting lobby and loading times?
They are consumables that double your XP gains.
Currently the only sources of XP are challenges and match completes.
They burn real time (which is stupid) so it indeed counts loading times, crashes, etc.
Personally, I waited till I almost completed a few snd turned one on. Then tried to blow through as many challenges as possible in quick ending matches.
Sometimes I got 5 ranks from one, others it was an entire waste.
Hopefully when they add medals/commendations/etc for more XP they will be useful.
yes, just when you’re near completing a couple.
but as long as you are playing a lot of games, you get 100xp for each game, not a lot.
EDIT
I used it when I finished all my weekly challenges and have no more. then turn it on and play a LOT of VS BOTS, which average is 5 minutes (3 if U get a well-organized team), so total 7 with the waiting times (5 with a team). this way I got 1400 XP in an hour. (no team)
this time average breaks if you get slayer in -behemoth
Not only does it count loading times and crashing, they also continue to countdown when the game is closed.
