ok, i have bought and paid for the halo 4 console. apparently there are some maps that I dont get of something??? also, what the hell is the “season pass” ive been reading about??? It seems to me that all these asethetic add ons are confusing and really taking away from the game. Since the armor that you all want to get so bad doesnt do anything, (it doesnt even look like halo armor, and looks like garbage at that) I really dont understand what all the fuss is about…that and stupid avatar crap…basically im just pissed that I have to shell out even more money for some maps that I didnt know even existed…but anywho, if someone could tell me the best route to go in getting the maps i would appreciate it.
The map pass that you’re referring to, only come with the limited edition of the game. Not the limited console.

hm, discount or not, that is the most rediculous thing i have ever heard of…i have (or did have) high hopes for this game…I am a huge halo fan, and even bigger master chief fan, but (here it comes, yep, the negativity) it seems to me that 343 has chopped and screwed this game…very gimmicky, very greedy and money grabbing with all this downloadable crap, and the masses just blindly follow…and theyre constantly selling out to kiddies with no paychecks…Im still going to buy it, im still going to play it, but, mark my words all who reads this, Im calling it now…this game is unfortunately, going to fail epicly in the long run…i hope im wrong, but usually im not
All game now a days have season passes, Borderlands 2 was a recent one I purchased. I wish Halo 2 and 3 had a season pass as I bought them all and could of received a discount! Consider it a blessing, because now a days DLC is something that is in a game no matter what.

Sigh… Honestly man it’s DLC! Its extra maps if they came out with 30 maps for release everyone would ask “Where’s the DLC?”
Halo 3 had DLC so did Reach even Halo 2 had DLC… Its $25 for maps; if you don’t want it don’t buy it and if you don’t have the money for it then well you have other problems.
Basically it’s extra maps to keep the game fresh and I think that by giving us Spartan Op’s for free buying maps is NOT a big deal WHATSOEVER. Your trying to make a big deal out of nothing.

Your entire argument fell apart right there. If these things upset you, and you feel they are “holding out” on us for more money, then the only way to tell them you don’t approve is to speak with your wallet. Otherwise, it just doesn’t matter, they have your money and that’s it.
^No, you buy the game, and spend not a penny on anything else they try to sell you with it. Then, you laugh at everyone who spent money on DLC but only gets to play the same maps you have because enough people are fed up with spending extra money on B.S. DLC.

You are being offered a 15% discount on DLC content that is only different than previous Halo2 through Halo:Reach DLC in that the time frame is greatly expedited between releases. 1.5-2 years worth of content in like what 7 months? And that’s with 10 maps at release and 3 Forge Lands to use before them.

If we are measuring how often you’re right by your spelling and grammar, your record isn’t looking very good.
Also, how is the ability to ‘pre-order’, as you put it; DLC maps at a discount, with some other goodies gimmicky, greedy, and money grabbing (I don’t really see too much of a difference between greedy and money grabbing but I just listed what you said)? They are letting you save money!!!
Christ Muro is right…now that i think about it…I want my damn money back on the reach maps that I NEVER GOT TO DAMN PLAY!!! Thats bull -Yoink-…if they are gonna make the maps, then they should do like they did in Halo 3 and eventually make it to where you had to have the maps in order to even play in matchmaking…mark my words people…(and yes im gonna buy the damn maps too, simply because i have the money to do so) everyone is going to buy the maps, but when they dont come out as options to play, everyone is gonna be pissed, but eventually forget about it as they just continue to suck 343’s slong like they been doing for the past year…but as far as im concerned…343 owes almost everybody on the forums 20 bucks right off the bat for doing EVERYONE dirty on the reach map packs…im telling yall, i really hope that im wrong, but i forsee a very poor future for this game in 6 months or less…
