Can Somebody Explain KDA to me?

So… I had a game where my Kills were 12, My assists were 9, and I had 5 deaths… So KDA to me… Means (Kills + Assists) / 5… which would equal 4.2… but instead it was like 1.3 or something?

I believe the formula is

average kda = ( total no of kills + (total assists/3)-total no of deaths)/total number of games.

For a single game, do this but dont divide by total no of games.

I.e.

Kda= kills + (assists/3) - deaths

So in a game with 12 kills, 9 assists, 5 deaths:

Kda for that game = 12 + (9/3) - 5= 10.

But your overall kda could be different in the playlist as a whole.
