Can people just enjoy the game?

Stop worrying about Kill death ratio. It is not a label that says whether one person is better or not. I believe that if someone is a high level, it took a lot of time and dedication to reach and therefore they are skilled. If you disagree let me know, because anyone that spends enough time here to have established a sweet set of armor and high rank must be good.

Also, I would rather have cool armor then a good K/D.

I really hope you’re trolling.

There will always be those K/D farmer guys in any game. As for the skill thing, I’m not so sure. I believe that high rank does not equal skill. Someone who has reached the highest rank will be experienced, but may not be skilled.

I’m not, I just read several topic pertaining to complaints of campers and K/D. When the skill system is out, that will rank players, not their K/D. I enjoy this game because it’s a race to get cool armor and complete commendations with my friends, not boast about how well I play it on occasion.

Lmao to the first reply.

Anyways, I agree. I mostly go for the wins instead, K/D doesn’t really matter to me. And I don’t really give a -Yoink- about armor lol.

343 made a game that is very close, if not, identical to Halo, and I’m enjoying it big time.

I understand what your saying, but what I am trying to implement is that through my own gaming experience, I have played games in which I suck at enough to become very skilled.

The level just correlates to time played, and when you play something alot you get good at it.

Gametype played game count stat master-race

I didn’t encounter a single one in Halo 3.

Nope. Seriously, there’s a blade of grass on Ragnarok that is WAY too bright green. The game is broken until they fix this annoyance that I personally have with the game. They owe it to me to fix that blade of grass. I don’t know why, but I am entitled to have them do whatever I personally think should be done in the game.

And that’s the Waypoint forums at the moment. Suggestions and opinions are one thing. Talking as if you are the only one who’s right and are owed something is ignorant and annoying for the rest.

You’re better off on the BNet forums for Halo 4 discussion right now to be honest. It’s at least civil, just fans chatting about the game and other topics (The Flood forum). At least until Waypoint creates a suggestions forum to clear out this one so we can resume intelligent conversations.

Just like cod where the higher the level they are the better!? Time spent=/=skill they may be correlated but certainly not a causal relationship. Practice may help though it depends what you practice and how you practice. I would far rather my performance in the game reflect how skilled I am. Armour shows nothing other than a bigger easier to sniper visor.

I’ve never seen someone complain about anything, but crucial elements to the game. If you love it so much, just go play it.

No, not when I payed $60 for a product I dislike.

I don’t disagree, but I developed a k/d complex thanks to Reach as I learned to play with the game. It and H3 are what I cut my teeth on in mm, I am not one of those folks that grew up with the franchise.

Suffice it to say, I sucked and struggled for some time understanding multiplayer. But I got better but my bpr and k/d ratio hung over me like an ugly stain, it was something I was embarrassed by.

With H4, I am more competent, although still not great, but I am not ashamed of my bpr and k/d rate, unless you start to break it down by gametypes, some of which I am really struggling with still.

So to make a long story short, I appreciate your stance, but mine is different for different reasons, perhaps not even the typical ones.
