Halo 5’s multiplayer has been on a steady decline in terms of what can actually be played.
It used to be that Warzone Assault, BTB and FFA were all completely inaccessible, while everything else worked fine.
Recently however other playlists have started to become unavailable. It started with Breakout and one by one everything else stopped working until, as of last night, only Warzone works, and it actually works very well.
I am in Australia. I know it is not my connection, as literally everything else works perfectly.
Mate - consider yourself fortunate. I got the game on release and have only been able to find warzone matches. I despise warzone. I didn’t buy Halo: Warzone.
The only games I can play are a few customs with friends, but even they are beginning to fail. Most of my friends have moved on from Halo. I check in from time to time, only to receive the same frustrating messages.
I believe that if a fix does come, that there will be no one online left to play. I highly doubt that 343 are working on anything that benefits anyone from outside the continental United States. and why should they - they have yours and my money.
They sold us a lemon - just as Microsoft did when they sung the praises of their wonderful cloud-powered console. You’d think that since 343 only had to make a game for a single console version that runs on their own network, as well as having a beta 10 months out from release, they’d be able to get it right.

> I have a problem finding BTB games without a Team, I think this is population related but I’m not sure.
I don’t think it can be entirely population based. One night I could find a Breakout game with little to no waiting, the next its impossible. I had a similar thing with Team Arena and then a few days later it was back up, but at least three players would get dropped each game.
