Recently the zoom on any weapon isn’t working. I thought it was the controller because it is the original, 5 years old, so I bought a new one. I found that the new one behaves the same way. Sometimes the zoom works, not lately, and some times the zoom works but only with a significant delay of more than 15 seconds.
It goes like this, I’m running around like a crazy person and spot someone a long distance away. I stop, press the zoom button, the thumb stick on the right side and nothing happens. I press it again and again and again and finally wait. Some times it will zoom in and sometimes it will zoom in and out. Sometimes it gets stuck on zoom so I can’t tell were the hell I’m at and must look like a crazy person running around bouncing off of things.
Like I said, the new controller behaves the same way as the old one.
LOL Great, it used to work for me too. Now, It’s weird and even with a brand new controller, the zoom is not working. I was hoping someone was going to tell me how to fix what I unknowingly changed.

You may have just gotten another bad controller, even though its new. If you havent used it that much, you may be able to trade it in for another, depending where you got it from. Or it may be severe lag on your xbox. 
Are you talking about weapons that have scopes? Because there is no zoom on the majority of weapons in CE.
The Magnum, Sniper, and Rocket Launcher are the only weapons you can zoom in with. Not sure about covie weapons.
