Not sure if this belongs here, but wanted to see if anyone else was having this issue. Whenever I try to launch Halo Infinite from the Xbox app on PC it directs me to Gaming Services on the Microsoft store. I have tried all of the fixes I could find on the internet and nothing worked. I was able to play it just fine yesterday and earlier today.
If anyone knows how to fix, please help.
Search for the thread with the title ‘Launched store instead of game’ - there’s a solution in there that worked for a couple of people.
I’m having the same exact problem.
Happened to me recently. Just uninstall the game and reinstall it. Should fix the issue.
That’s a lot of downloading for a maybe fix.
So the fixes I’m seeing are:
Close out the Xbox app service from the service tray
Go to Setting>Apps and find Halo Infinite
Click Repair, once that is finished click Restart
Or:
Go to the Halo Infinite page in your Xbox App library, click the three dots and select “Manage Game”
Uncheck the HD texture pack and click “Apply”
If you want to use the HD texture pack, you will have to reinstall it
Any fix for error 0x87e00005? I can’t even download it. I can download other games just fine. I uninstalled the Steam version already.
Not a maybe fixed. It worked for me twice.
