So this is just a general question about Waypoint itself as I’m rather curious. Can locked Waypoint posts be unlocked? Also just lock this thread after the correct answer is left please.
Probably? Although I doubt mods would ever do it because they lock stuff for a reason. I think posts can be locked if they’re spam, go off-topic of Halo, or trying to start a thread when one already exists, and reviving old posts. I’m sure there are other things, but I’m no mod so idk. I think with this question being 2 hours old, it might get pushed back to the top of the forums because I replied interacted with it. So on that, I’m sure it will be locked.
Mods can unlock threads, but it rarely happens. I’ve seen it happen to mega threads that get really heated. Mods will lock the thread to moderate all the posts and let everyone cool off. The thread gets unlocked with a warning saying if it goes off the rails again they will permanently lock it.
Threads can be unlocked, though that wouldn’t happen to often since most are locked for cause. If you have an issue you can pm one of us.
