I was using a Light of Urs that I got in a random weapon pack, and I happened to drag my reticle across an enemy wasp, and the gun made the same sound as a Banshee cannon acquiring a flying target. When I fired, though, I didn’t see it home in. I just don’t use it that often, but if it does lock onto aerial vehicles it would be really useful.
So does anyone know?
I am pretty sure they don’t but each weapon has a description of what it does so it should say if it does.
It does lock on, but, from my experience, the tracking is fairly weak.

That may be the case. I just don’t know why the REQ description wouldn’t mention it if so.
AI’s can make trackless weapons track.
The Light of Urs and Pool of Radiance can track aerial vehicles to devastating effect. You must have a red reticule in order to lock on, though.

Unlike the Rocket Launcher or Hydra, there won’t be a lock-on diamond appearing. You have to listen for the series of beeps until you hear the “LOCKED ON” sound.

I can’t believe I have over 2,800 Warzone games played and didn’t know this. lol
I guess I never looked up when I had the light of Urs out. Generally the only time I would pull that out is for core destruction though.

Yeah same lol. I doubt I have that many games played though
