Can I stay as a Master of Unicorns?

I hear that they will update people’s forums ranks as time passes, but i wonder if its possible to request to stay this way? Id rather be a master of unicorns than have a signature. =P

Probably not, consider yourself lucky (or unlucky), and enjoy it while you can!

I’m master of unicorns yay!

I must savor this moment while I can!

I’;ve had mine forever. I doubt mine will ever change.

Its going to stay reserved for Halo Console LE buyers. FOTUS armor with the horn. This is just a speculation.

I was confused when I first came on the Forums and my rank had changed into Master of Unicorns. I don’t even remember what I was before that. I’ve grown to like being a possible reference to Fotus.

How does one become a Master of Unicorns?

Well I can tell you it’s definitely not for having a high post count…

You can’t.

A rank glitch isn’t it?

The answer is yes. They were supposed to change them a long time ago, but as you can see our unicorns still remain.

That’s because it is a bug, it will be fixed soon enough.

I’m pretty sure they could go in an change everyone’s ranks manually (I’m not familiar with YAF so I may be wrong). While it would be time consuming it would have been entirely possible over time.

I’ll say yet again that they promised to fix it a long time ago. I know the bug was created when they shifted the database over to a new software, but I can’t imagine it being incredibly difficult to fix.

My guess is it’s just very low on their priority list. Not to say it shouldn’t be, that is. I’d much rather have the Halo 4 site overhaul rather than the ranks fixed, haha.

Indeed it is as simple as just changing people’s rank manually, it isn’t a top priority, rank means nothing until 6,001 posts when you are meant to hit Spartan - Iron.
