and then open them after the REQ get into the pool and get the MOR items? I was just curious about it because I know you can purchase the packs on waypoint and then open them on your xbox later. I just didn’t know if it would work as pre- MOR or just the packs sitting there type of thing

I think you can. I don’t think a REQ pack is tied to the content to when you buy it. A gold pack is a gold pack after all so I’m pretty sure once the REQs a rolled in you can open your packs and get the new items (assuming you have 100% unlock already) if not you’ll get a chance to unlock the new REQs.
