So my problem is that I wont have Live much longer. And I just want to know that if I dont have Live, is Season 1 of Spartan Ops still playable? Or will be disc-locked?
You get the first Episode which contains 5 playable Chapters after that, if you don’t have Live, well, tough luck.

You dont neeed it to play, just to download. Maybe wait for the season to come to an end and borrow a 1-2 day gold membership, or buy a whole month then download all of it at once

Spartan ops requires Xbox Live …
I would be willing to bet that there’s a 2-day gold trial card in Halo 4, save those up and use one a week (or buy Gold by the month or months rather than by the year)

It’s not a scam it’s an official microsoft program that gives incentives to people who use bing. Right now they have lots of neat rewards including a sweepstakes to win an xbox 360 bundle.
well. if it just a silver, sure. but you will still need online connection to get more then just the first week.

Dissapointing for me considering my Wi-Fi isn’t connected to my Xbox, and I’m 95% sure that it won’t come back come the first week of Halo 4.
