The Halo 5 beta comes with MCC dude, as long as you have MCC before 29th Dec you’re set!
You culd probably get MCC any time up until the beta closes and still get access. I don’t believe there are any codes required for the beta on the 29th, just a case of having either the digital or physical copy and it will become enabled as soon as the beta drops

There isn’t a code, so you are correct. The instructions only say that you need to select it from the extra section in the game and it should download.
