I’ve been playing my retail copy since last night. There’s only around 150-200 people online, but it’s safe. As long as its legit, your good to go.
Players in these threads saying you shouldn’t play, are just severely misinformed, or are really jealous you got it early.

You won’t be banned. I called Microsoft and told them I had a copy and told them where i purchased it from. They gave me a ticket number and told me if any problems aside to call back and it would be taken care of. Enjoy the Game
