Can I just say...

The new Man Cannon looks -Yoink!- as hell.

Great job 343i! Everything I’ve seen so far looks stunning.

Indeed, the old ones were all Covenant, now we have this awesome thing.

That’s a fancied-up mancannon, n’est-ce pas?

It’s nice looking. But not nearly as nice as the ones on Tempest.

Finally unified themes! Prior to Halo 4, the Forge allowed creativity at the price of not being able to keep to a particular theme that official maps seem to keep.

Now we can make maps that look complete! I can only hope we can spawn more natural objects this time around, like trees for example.

That sure is one fine looking man-cannon; it has such fine detail.

Look beautiful, and more detailed!

It does look fantastic, but I’m rather disappointed we won’t be getting a Halo 3 style man cannon. Why? Because 1) it’s freaking awesome sci-fi to have blue that appears from nowhere and 2) It limits their potential. How? Instead of just walking into a grav lift, you must climb up it and then shoot yourself off (or walk into the front, Avalanche style). This isn’t a huge deal, but there have been many times where I tried to back into a Spire man cannon to escape some heat only for my Spartan to clamber up, around, and everwhere but the blue stuff that shoots you. This can be avoided by placing the man cannon under ground, but then you may have ugly rods sticking up or the blue stuff literally appears from nowhere. That’s my two cents.

Yeah, but… Just look at it. It’s -Yoink!-.

Who says we don’t get one? We had a small one that worked the same way in Halo: Reach. And in the video you see they have different kinds in Halo 4 as well.

Agreed… can’t wait to see the rest!

Annoyed its so similar to forge world but hopefully the other two are different.

And they need a no fall damage trait for that last jump lolz, or just remove fall damage completely.

Im sure the other two environments will be completely different. Im predicting a snow environment and a forerunner one (like Haven).

It’s about time the UNSC manufactures some of those bad boys!

That would be nice. I agree that they will be significantly different than the one they showed. People are getting bent out of shape and complaining that it’s not improved enough but I’m sure there is a lot of new features and improvements to Forge that they haven’t shown yet. It wasn’t meant to be a full reveal of the new Forge or else they would have shown all 3 Forge maps. I don’t think people will be disappointed once they reveal the rest of the new Forge. I’m just glad that they made it easier to fit pieces together with the new magnet system and things like that. This will allow more people to make maps because it will be easier and take less time.
